I have tried view>show hidden lines with no luck. If you use them properly in the Z plane, you can save yourself a lot of time down the road. I was attempting to clean up a section view and I 'right click>hide in view>element' -ed the box that crops the view (the scope box) and cannnot now get it to come back so that I can adjust the crop. A lot of times folks forget to control how high they go. They are 3D! Don’t forget that they are 3d elements. The crop region for those views will lock into the scope box size, so whenever you update the scope box, the crop region updates as well. I dont know if this solves your problem but here is what I did. We will create and assign scope boxes to control the views of each wing of the building. Very close to the Dependent View, you can create the limits of a scope box and then assign views to that scope box. Just don’t forget you used this setting once you start doing it. Each Scope Box has its own setting that you can force them on or off in individual views. I am on a 3D view and whenever I go to stretch the section box I am continually clicking this green box and highlighting the entire architects plan instead. You’ll need to create independent views of the tunnel with different view ranges to show the top half separate from the bottom half. The limits of scope boxes does not define the assigned view’s vertical limits (view range), only the x and y boundaries. Scope boxes are automatically visible in all 3D and views where the scope box intersects the cut plane.
